If you are anything like me you have at least 50 different computers that you need to manage remotely. If you use Putty for ssh, WinSCP for file copies, VNC for desktop access and Microsoft RDP for managing Windows machines, you will know how hard it can be to keep all your logins organized.

mRemoteNG is a fully featured, tabbed, remote access manager. It seamlessly integrates with RDP, Putty, VNC and even has an integrated web browser built in.

What makes mRemoteNG even more useful is its ability to integrate external tools. Now, for you these may be differ from the ones I find useful, but I will list my favourites as examples.



To add external tools:
Click on Tools > External Tools

Right click on the empty area and select "New External Tool"
Here are the ones that I use:

Ping: Allows you to launch a ping by right clicking the host
Display Name: Ping
Filename: cmd
Arguments: /k ping -t %HostName%

Stream your webcam to see it through a browser using YawCam

YawCam, Yet Another Webcam software, this is a free program that, unlike tons of others, will let you easy stream your webcam to see it through your browser.

Now, let�s do this. First download and install.

Let�s configure it. First you need to select the cam you want to use.

Now, go to Settings > Edit settings. Copy your public IP and port.

Now (assuming that you already forwarded the port, otherwise use this) enable the Stream option.

Go to the browser and paste the IP followed by the port, like this:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:PORT

Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your public IP, and PORT is the port that the program is using.

And that�s it. You�ll receive a notification each time someone is watching you. Also, you need to keep the program running to be able to access it, so if you shut it down, no one will be able to access your camera.

SWTOR Last Chance to Finalize your guild

SWTOR recently made this below announcement to ensure that all guilds that meet the requirements (minimum 4 members with pre-order codes) can get set up for Early Access.


A few weeks ago we announced that Phase 3 of our Pre-Launch Guild Program had begun. Phase 3: Deployment allows guild members to see whether or not their guild qualifies for transfer into the game. As we approach Early Game Access for Star Wars�: The Old Republic�, we want to remind all of you in guilds that the Pre-Launch Guild Program will end on December 2nd, 11:59PM CST so that guilds can be assigned to servers for Early Game Access.
This is your last chance to:

• Make any changes to your guild
• Ensure your guild meets requirements for deployment into the game
• Designate your guild�s Allies and Adversaries
• Review and accept pending guild applications

So how do you ensure that your guild makes it into the game for launch? It�s simple! All you have to do is make sure at least four members of your guild have pre-ordered the game and redeemed their Pre-Order Code at our Code Redemption Center. Once you�ve done that, you can check your guild�s page within the Guild HQ to see if you have met all of the pre-designated conditions.
