Subins Project Online Thanks to App Fog
You might have know the project I have been working on. The Subins Project. I have spent a year on this project. My wish was to host this on a site. But I couldnt afford the hosting charges cause Im 12 and my dad wont lend me money.
I took a leave because of fever. On that day I was browsing the internet and out of nowhere I saw a post about a site named AppFog. The post said that AppFog gives free hosting on their servers under their domain name. So quickly I went to AppFog and signed up. It was pretty easy. I created my site in the domain subins.hp.af.cm.
I uploaded my project using a RubyGem named AF. I just need to install the GEM and use the command af. Since I uses Linux it was pretty easy. I Love AppFog.
Then I created more sites associated with Subins. The services which have been uploaded and full working are the following :-
I am working on uploading more services I created but I dont have time cause Christmas Exam is coming soon and mom wont let me use the internet. Exams will start on 13 December and will end on 21 December. I will upload more services after the exams.

Subins Update 1 2
Subins Update 1 2
Subins has been updated to 1.2. The new changes have been made on Subins and is updated today. The sites that affected the changes are:
Subins Chat
In Subins Chat the design has been changed. The bugs have been fixed and Its more fast than before.
Subins Chat is not only a group chat but a place for submitting suggestions, bugs, errors and feedback.
Please report any errors or bugs happening on any of the sites of Subins in Subins Chat.

Accounts
Only the PHP code is changed. Others are all the same. Added extra security measures.
Subins
PHP code changed. The pagination CSS has been changed. More colourful. Automatic adding of results.
Friendshood
Friendshood was discontinued a while back, but now it has been restored. Friendshoods style has been changed. Like button, Comment button and Share button style is changed to new and attarctive style. Uploading Image bug has been fixed, Thanks to ImgUr.
Subins GET
Subins Apps and Subins Games have been merged to Subins GET.
Subins GET has a new function which Converts YouTube video to MP3. The converted MP3 file is added to Subins GET database with the video picture, URL and uploader name.
Subins GET is the site which has a lot of changes in this update.

Subins Games A new Game site from Subins
Subins Games A new Game site from Subins
This is my 5th project. The Subins Games. This site is for playing games.
Functions
- Commenting
- Score saving
- Play History
- Add your game
- Game stats
(And adding new ones!)
Like all the other projects this project has used Javascript Library Jquery and the server side language is PHP.
This sites games is the combination of old PFOGB and G2E.
The main problem I faced was the merging of two blogs to one. It was very difficult to merge manually.
So I used Wordpress in my localhost to import posts from blogger and exported the posts in XML format.
Then I used PHP to insert the XML file contents to MySql Database. Thankyou Wordpress.
